We Were Liars by E. Lockhart is hauntingly hard to forget. Cadence was in a terrible accident that causes her to suffer migraines almost everyday. But she is a Sinclair and they do not suffer pain or fools. The Sinclair family believes that lies are as essential as air, as much as they believe that normality is the most important element in life. I would recommend We Were Liars to any young adult. An amazingly crafted book that offers readers a chance to judge if ignorance is bliss.
